As-salamu alaykum. In medicine, we encounter concepts that deeply overlap with Islamic theology, from death and dying to healing, ethics, and the purpose behind care itself. Join us for a talk with Dr. Nazir Khan, neuroradiologist, imam, and president of Yaqeen Canada, as he explores the connection between Islamic theology and medicine, and the role of Muslim physicians in serving their communities with Iḥsan. This event will take place on Friday, November 14th, from 6-8 PM in HSC 1A3 at McMaster and is open to all medical students, residents, staff and undergrads interested in medicine.
